In 2006, there was a notable absence of low-cost spay/neuter/wellness clinics between Houston and Austin and between Waco and Corpus Christi. Driven by private donations, Animal Friends embarked on a mission to establish a vet clinic to cater to the needs of residents across several counties, including Austin, Brazos, Burleson, Washington and more. While these regions remain the primary focus, the clinic warmly welcomes clients from Harris County and beyond, embodying a commitment to serving communities far and wide. Our Clinic is focused on spay/neuter surgeries plus vaccination and other wellness services.

Opened in 2010 and rebuilt several times due to floods, the Dog Parks at Animal Friends of Washington County offer safe and enjoyable spaces for dogs to play and socialize. Supported entirely by donations, the parks feature three separate areas for big and small dogs, ensuring a comfortable environment for all pets. With benches provided for owners to relax while their furry friends play, our Dog Parks provide a valuable resource for the community to enjoy quality time with their pet

Animal Friends of Washington County is proud to be a 100% non-profit organization dedicated to serving the community and its pets. Your donations are essential in enabling us to continue providing vital services and assistance to animals in need. Whether you choose to make a one-time donation or set up a recurring donation schedule on a weekly, monthly, or yearly basis, your support directly impacts the lives of animals and their owners in our community. We are deeply grateful for your generosity and commitment to our cause.
